WORKSHOP INFORMATION
PWRD Leadership, in partnership with Teach Like a Champion, is proud to support teachers and leaders with a Teach Like a Champion: Systems and Routines Face-to-Face Program. Former teacher, principal and charter-school founder Doug Lemov authored Teach Like a Champion after observing teachers getting exceptional results. He realised by naming and describing successful teacher techniques, coupled with short, focused video clips of the techniques in action, the practices could be easily shared with others.
BUILDING STRONG CLASSROOM CULTURE
This program, Teach Like a Champion: Building Strong Classroom Culture, focuses on the techniques that champion teachers use in creating classrooms with strong cultures that enable rigorous and engaging academic instruction.
Participants will develop:

The knowledge to implement belonging aligned to student culture

Their skills through rehearsal on how to deal with behaviour using the Teach Like a Champion techniques

Teach Like a Champion - Plug n Play Licence Cost
Each school that has not already purchased the Teach Like a Champion Behaviour Plug n Play licence will be charged $725 + GST, on top of the per participant cost.
ALL SCHOOLS WILL RECEIVE THE RESOURCES FOR FREE IF YOU SEND 2 PARTICIPANTS TO THE WORKSHOP.
SYSTEMS AND ROUTINES
This program, Teach Like a Champion: Systems and Routines, focuses on the techniques that champion teachers use to design, install and maintain systems and routines that students do automatically and with little-to-no teacher prompting to accomplish academic, procedural, and cultural goals in the classroom. Upon completing this program, you will be equipped to return to your school and implement Teach Like a Champion core systems and routines in your classroom and have the TLAC designed materials to train others in the techniques from Teach Like a Champion: Systems and Routines.
